What is A Corrugated Box Made Of?
Corrugated material is created from three to five layers: an inside liner, an outside liner, and fluting which runs in between. It is the middle fluting section that provides most of it's strength. Corrugated packaging is used in delivery boxes and hard-wearing retail displays. Think shipping boxes, pizza boxes and moving house kits.
Why Choose Corrugated Boxes
- They are strong and durable
- They are easily printed on/branded
- They can come in a wide variety of sizes
- They are widely recycled
Examples of Corrugated Boards
Corrugated has various strengths and thicknesses. Our most popular options are singlewall 3mm thick and doublewall 7mm thick. We also stock 1.2mm E flute, 4mm C flute and 4.2 mm microdoublewall EB flute. Most short run orders are plain but can accept a very good print if needed.
